Trustee Eric Parker

Eric Parker is a senior at Cheyney University, who transferred from Northwestern University. He is a Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management major and a Political Science minor. With a strong interest in legal studies, he plans to attend law school upon completion of his baccalaureate degree from Cheyney University (2011).

He is a member of the Keystone Honors Academy, and he has earned Dean’s List stature. He has represented the University at the national competition of the Honda Campus All Star Challenge. The All Star Challenge is a fast-paced academic competition which takes place amongst HBCUs across the country, and Eric was Cheyney team’s top scorer.

Eric is also the current Recording Secretary for the Student Government Cooperative Association (SGCA). In addition, Eric is the president of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH), Cheyney University Chapter, and the Vice President of Eta Sigma Delta International Hospitality Management Society, Cheyney University Chapter.

Possessing strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, Eric has already applied his abilities in the professional realm, and was employed as a summer sales manager intern with Ecolab.

He is published in the Cheyney University Magazine.
