D.I.V.A. "Distinction Is Very Appealing" Program is a comprehensive and interactive four-part program series for women students. Each session, which lasts 90 minutes, provides a foundation for the session that follows. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend every session.

For the third straight season Cheyney and Lincoln Universities will kick-off the football season against each other. This year the Battle of the Firsts – Wade Wilson Classic will be played in O’Shields-Stevenson Stadium on the campus of Cheyney University.

High School Males will participate in a week long residential life experience (August 7th-13th) at Cheyney University that exposes them to; goal setting, mentor leadership development, college preparedness, SAT preparation and pre-professional skills. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in recreational activities as follows; swimming, tennis, golf, basketball, football and other activities. Students should apply immediately as space is limited!

CHEYNEY, PA – (August 31, 2010) – Each year, the United States celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th to recognize the economic, cultural, and social contributions of the more than 47 million Hispanics residing in the U.S. This year, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania will celebrate Hispanic heritage on November 5, 2010 with a special program beginning at 10:30AM in Dudley Theatre. This year’s theme is, “Building a Community of Interest.”

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), nineteen Cheyney University students will receive the Bond-Hill Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. A total of twenty-eight scholarships were awarded this year.
