CU Basketball Players Recognized with PSAC Post Season Honors

Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) coaches gave post season honors to two Cheyney University basketball players: Brandon Norfleet and Jason Sabb.   Norfleet was named PSAC East Freshman of the Year and Sabb was named second team all-conference for the second year in a row.
 
In addition, Norfleet, was named PSAC East Feshman of the Week three times and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week on three occasions during the basketball season. He ranked second on the squad and 19th in the conference with a 13.6 scoring average. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Norfleet converted .455 of his field goal attempts to finish 12th in the PSAC. Norfleet also was named ECAC Player of the Week on three occasions.
 
Sabb averaged 17.8 points per game to finish fifth in the PSAC. The Philadelphia native also ranked eighth in the conference in field goal percentage at .481 (142-295) and ranked fifth in free throw percentage at .853 (64-75).
