Now set for Wednesday, November 2, the festive evening will offer 'decadent dining' and quality schmoozing for a worthwhile cause--funding a professional development trip for two dozen students . Doors open at 5:30 pm."

Peace Corps Car Coming to Cheyney University Thursday October 20

Cheyney University will be the first stop, and the only stop in the tri-state area, on the Fall 2016 Peace Car tour of HBCUs with a visit on Thursday, October 20 near the Marcus Foster Alumni Student Center. The goal is to expose students to the many opportunities that the Peace Corps and the federal government have to offer.

Director Layon Gray Brings Story of 1939 Harlem Basketball Team to Cheyney Stage on October 25

Kings of Harlem will be performed on Tuesday, October 25 on Cheyney's historic campus. Written and directed by Layon Gray, Kings Of Harlem, inspired by the 1939 Harlem Rens basketball team, tells the story of seven men who overcame adversity to win more than 2,000 games while barnstorming throughout segregated parts of the country in the 1930s despite never being officially accepted professionally or socially.

Cheyney University is hosting a series of career fairs this Fall from October 26 through November 16. The first four fairs will feature employers while the final fair will showcase graduate schools. All five fairs are exclusively for Cheyney students and alumni. All fairs will be held on Wednesdays from 11 am to 2 pm in Marcus Foster Alumni Student Center's second floor auditorium.

On Monday, August 22, 2016 the Cheyney University C Club held its seventh annual Wade Wilson Golf Tournament and silent auction at the Penn Oaks Golf Club to raise money for Cheyney University student-athletes, band members and cheerleaders. A Paint and Sip event at Pinot’s Palette in nearby Chadds Ford, PA also raised scholarship funds. All events raised over $60,000.
