Born March 16, 1911 in Manassas, Virginia, she is the second daughter of Dr. Leslie Pinckney Hill, the renowned educator, author and first president of Cheyney State University, and Jane Ethel Clark, who was a teacher at Tuskegee Institute with Booker T. Washington. Mrs. Hill-Logan is described in her father’s poem, Melrose at Christmas, as “Hermione with the heart of gold.&quot;]]></description>

Shawn Murray, coordinator of the program, is a graduate of the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and the culinary arts program at the Central Montco Technical High School.
