Eric Acolatse has more than twenty-five years of financial management experience before becoming the Director of Athletic Business with the responsibility of monitoring all financial operations of the Athletic Department and adhering to the fiscal and administrative requirements of NCAA/PSAC.
Eric joined Cheyney University in 2000 as the Controller and was transferred to become the Internal Audit and Bookstore Manager in 2006.
Before joining the staff of Cheyney University, Eric served as the Director of Finance and Administration for Africa Region with Opportunities Industrialization Centers International, Inc. which conducts management training and project development in sustainable micro-enterprises, manpower and human resources development in foreign countries in close collaboration with US Agency for International Development.
Eric Acolatse graduated in 1975 from Northeastern University in Massachusetts with a BS in Business Administration (Accounting Major). Eric also graduated from Babson College with MBA is Business Management. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and currently licensed with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.
Eric had earlier worked with Lucas, Tucker & Company, Certified Public Accountants in Boston, Massachusetts as Senior Accountant where he performed financial statements and compliance audits, reviews, compilation of financial statements. He also performed management advisory services to develop operational policies and procedures and to establish adequate and effective internal control structure.
Eric plays soccer and a member of National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
