Tuesday, April 17, 2012Billington, Mines and Silver represent Cheyney University on the Women’s At Large All Area Academic Team. The trio is part of 11 student-athletes selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s At-Large Team. The team was voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Bowlers Sit Third After Day One
Saturday, February 25, 2012Led by Janae Silver, Cheyney University sits third at the PA State Championship. Cheyney went 1-3 in baker matches with a win against Lincoln University. The Lady Wolves bowled their new high team game of 846 only to be beat only to fall to Kutztown (947).

Bowlers Roll
Monday, February 20, 2012Janea Silver and Taylor Billington paced the Cheyney University Women’s Bowling Team at the James Brown Invitational hosted by Morgan State Invitational. Silver averaged 151 pins while Billington averaged 147 over the three day tournament.
