Congratulations, Prospective Graduate, family members and guests; and welcome to Cheyney University's Commencement Website!

The 2012 Commencement Convocation will be held on the Cheyney University Quadrangle at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012. All graduates are expected to participate in Commencement and must be in proper academic attire. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. and report directly to Dudley Hall on the Quadrangle. A special events tent will be set up on the quadrangle to accommodate all of the commencement participants and guests; there will be no need to relocate activities due to inclement weather. Rehearsal for Commencement will be held in Dudley Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

Please be advised that you must satisfy all academic requirements and financial obligations to the university. You may review your account information via Power Campus Self Serve. Graduation fees of $45 for Master’s Degree graduates and $78  for Bachelor’s Degree graduates are payable online or in the Office of the Bursar (Wade Wilson Building, 1st floor). For questions regarding your account, you may email bursar@cheyney.edu or call 610-399-2230. All students with federal loans must complete an exit interview either online or by scheduling an appointment with the Office of Financial Aid; call Financial Aid 610- 399-2302 for further information.

To purchase academic regalia (cap & gown) please contact the Campus Bookstore at 610-399-2550. Custom personalized Commencement Announcements are also available for purchase; orders may be placed online at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation. Questions should be referred to the Campus Bookstore. Additional information and updates on Commencement will be posted on the website.

Earned degrees for Spring 2012 graduates will be mailed in mid-July and will be forwarded to graduates via certified mail to the home address of record. If address changes are necessary, please notify the Office of the Registrar in writing, by fax (610-399-2385) or email (registrar@cheyney.edu) prior to April 20, 2012.
