Burger King is offering scholarships in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 to high school seniors, Burger King employees and children of Burger King employees. The deadline is January 10. Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants offers a scholarship of up to $1,000 to the student who writes the best essay on the topic: “What was the most difficult time in your life, and why? The Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship is open to high school seniors and first-year college students. You must be a citizen of the U.S. or Canada and be under 25 years of age to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a maximum 1000-word essay on the following topic: "Why is a healthy lifestyle important in school?"; and in under 500 words, describe your career plans, goals, and personal ambitions.
