Scholarships for The University of Pittsburgh Post-Bac in the Health Sciences – For students who will graduate and who are interested in biomedical graduate training. This program will help prepare students for graduate school, and will provide a rich, mentored, funded research experience prior to application. The UPIRTA (University of Pittsburgh Intramural Research Training Award) includes 2 research pathways, one in autism and the other in Antibiotic resistant infectious disease. Scholarships for Graduate School Entrance Exam Coursework – Most graduate programs require applicants to take a standardized exam, such as the GRE, LSAT, MCAT or GMAT. The KHA is offering scholarships to a limited number of students who show serious interest in graduate school placement, but who would like additional assistance preparing for the entrance exam required. The HBCU STEM Fellowship Program - Provides fellowships and stipends to graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to pursue Master’s level programs in STEM areas of study at colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware or Washington, DC. STEM refers to the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, but does not include majors linked to medical fields.
