Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, Dr. M. Bernadette Carter, recently retired from Cheyney University. At a dinner hosted in her honor on June 8, she was recognized for her many contributions to Cheyney University.

At the June 14 Council of Trustees Meeting, Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, Gerald B. Coleman, was recognized for the contributions he made during his tenure at the University. Board Chairman Robert W. Bogle expressed the Board's gratitude for the high level of service that Vice President Coleman demonstrated in his 3-year tenure at Cheyney University. Mr. Coleman recently announced plans to accept a position at another institution of higher education.
