Links to the Federal Direct Loan process for All Cheyney University Students and Parents (READ BELOW!)

• To all first-year Cheyney students, readmitted students, and other students who have NOT borrowed in the past but wish to do so now:  
  • You must complete the Direct Lending Entrance Interview and Direct Lending Master Promissory Note on www.studentloans.gov.  Your interview and master promissory note must be completed before you arrive on-campus for Fall Semester, 2011.  If you borrowed at Cheyney during academic year 2010-2011, you do NOT need to do another interview or MPN.  Visit www.studentloans.gov.
• To all Cheyney University Parents (first year, returning, and readmitted) wishing to use the federal Loan for Parents (e.g, PLUS loan) during the 2011-2012 academic year:  
  • You must complete the Plus request process on www.studentloans.gov.  If you are seeking a denial of Plus for the purposes of increasing your student's eligibility for student loans, you must complete this process as well.  Visit www.studentloans.gov.
