The Department of Fine Arts, Design and Liberal Studies offers a bachelors B.A. degree program in Fine Arts, with concentrations in Art, Music, Theatre, B.S. in Graphic Design, and B.A. in Liberal Studies. The Department also offers a minor in Art and Graphic Design.
The School of Arts and Sciences is proud to offer students the opportunity to major in Graphic Design. The graphic design program will expose students to the design principles and technology that are being used in today’s graphic communications as well as a historical backdrop of Graphic Design.
The mission of the graphic design program is to enable students to plan and execute the design of visual communication according to the needs of audiences and contexts for which communication is intended.
The Graphic Design program Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level positions such as, graphic designers, production designers, and design production coordinators, and this degree program will also serve as a preparation for graduate studies in graphic design or related disciplines.
The course of study to attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design is 120 Credits, 42 credits are in the major. A minor in the program is 18 credits
