Welcome to the Cheyney University Office of Information Technology’s Homepage. IT is responsible for providing technical support and resources for Cheyney University students, faculty and/or staff members.

Help Desk Services

  • Faculty/Staff Helpdesk - Email helpdesk@cheyney.edu or Submit a ticket to Track-it! Web
  • Student Helpdesk - Help is provided for antivirus software installations & wifi connections only
    Students must visit the IT Office in person
    • Drop-off Days/Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays
      (8:30 am - 10:30 am or 3:00pm - 5:00pm)
    • Pick-up Days/Times: Wednesdays & Fridays
      (8:30 am - 10:30 am or 3:00pm - 5:00pm)

  • File Maintenance & Backup

Public Computer Labs

There are 2 public computer labs

  • Marcus Foster Computer Lab on the 3rd Floor of Marcus Foster Student Alumni Center (80 computers)
  • Leslie Pinckney Hill Library on the 1st Floor (30 computers)

Faculty & Student Photo Identification Cards
(Wolf E-card)

Visit the Information Technology Department to take your photo id.  If your id card is lost, damaged, or stolen, you must pay $24 for a replacement id – no exceptions
Visit IT Department, Vaux Logan, 1st Floor

Campus WIFI Hotspots

WIFI is available in the following buildings only:
