Mission

The Office for Institutional Advancement creates, manages and sustains relationships and alliances that support the mission of Cheyney University and provide a competitive edge. We are responsible for building a network of alumni, parents, friends, community leaders, faculty, staff, corporations and philanthropists who support the academic, cultural, student development and life, and athletic offerings of Cheyney University, through the donations of their time, talent and treasures; therefore ensuring that America’s Oldest Historically Black Institution of Higher Education continues its tradition of preparing confident, competent, reflective visionary leaders and responsible citizens.
