BORROWING AND RETURNING MATERIALS

Students may obtain a Library barcode by presenting a current, valid student ID at the Circulation Desk, and by filling out a Library Barcode Application form. The Library barcode will be attached to the back of the student’s ID card.  A student is responsible for ALL books or materials checked out on her/his Library barcode, inlcuding items that  may be checked out for someone else.

If one’s ID card is lost or stolen, report the loss promptly to the Library so that the status of the Library barcode can be changed to lost/stolen. A replacement Library barcode can be issued, IF one’s record on the previous Library barcode is clear.

RESERVED MATERIALS – Library USE ONLY

Reserved books, photocopies, and other items are shelved behind the Circulation/Reserve Desk. Articles and books are listed in a binder at the Desk.  Books are also searchable in the electronic Library Catalog. A valid University ID is required to check out Reserve material.  For USE IN THE LIBRARY ONLY Reserve material, an alternate ID, such as a driver's license may be accepted.  Ask at the Circulation/Reserve Desk. Return reserve material to a staff member or student employee at the Circulation/Reserve Desk so that it can be correctly checked in.
