In collaboration with the Office of Admissions, the Cheyney University Athletic Department hosted its annual Youth Day this past Friday.  Numerous schools and organizations in the tri-state area came out to cheer on the Cheyney Wolves and learn about the University.

The day started with a tour of the campus.  The middle school-aged children especially loved the new 400 bed residence hall and the aqua cultural center where live tilapia fish and fresh basil are grown.  Prior to the game, visiting students were able to meet and greet Cheyney’s wolf mascot, get autographs and shoot around with the basketball teams.  The student athletes reiterated to the 300 participants that hard work in the classroom gives you an opportunity to enjoy life as a college athlete.
Every child in attendance left with gifts and great memories of their time at CU.
