Brown returns to the Line-Up

Nadirah Brown returned to the line and led the Lady Wolves with 16 points and seven rebounds but Cheyney came out on the short end of a 77-65 to East Stroudsburg in Cope Hall.

Aerie DeJesus and Linda Henderson added 11 and 10 points respectively.

The contest turned late in the first half with the Warriors on top 26-21. ESU would run off the final 12 points of half over 2:24 to take a 17 point lead into the locker room.

A pair of Shavania Thomas free throws with 9:33 remaining brought the lead down to nine but that was as close as the Lady Wolves would get.

Cheyney will face league leader Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm in Cope Hall.
