CU Celebrates 175 Years With Big Parade

Saturday October 20 brought bright skies and big crowds to Cheyney University's campus for a huge homecoming celebration of the 175th anniversary of its founding. While week-long festivities brought many back to their alma mater, the University's traditional parade and football game are always the big draw.
A fire truck from Concordville Fire Company took the lead at 10:45 am at the University's entrance on Cheyney Road and looped its way through the campus and Westtown Road while people of all ages lined the route, clapping their hands and moving to the beat of the bands. Other parade participants included:-
