CU Men Place Fifth at Collegiate Track Championship

The Cheyney University men’s track team finished fifth at the Collegiate Track Championship conest at Georgian Court University.

Kemuel Wright placed fourth in the 100 m in a time of 11.42.  He also finished second in the 200 m in 22.64.  In the 400 m, Justin Watkins finished sixth in 50.63.  Darius Reeves placed second in the 110 hurdles in 15.42. In the 4 X 100 relay the team of Lonnell Wilson, Donte McCorey, Justin Watkins and Christian Beard placed sixth in 43.89.  Darius Reeves and Kemuel Wright finished third and fourth in the long jump with marks of 6.87 m and 6.86 m.  In the triple jump, Reeves took home the top spot with an effort of 14.02 m.  Jewel Jones and Adam Dolphin placed fourth and fifth with marks of 13.16 m and 13.60 m respectively.  Javier Garcia finished seventh in both the shot put and javelin with efforts of 13.24 m and 52.40 m. 

 
Next week the Wolves will be competing at the Penn Relays.
