Cheyney Day of Worship at Sharon Hill

The First African Baptist Church recently honored Cheyney University with Cheyney University Day on Sunday, Nov. 8. The event was coordinated by Gaynelle Turner Lewis (’73) and the Delaware County Chapter (D.C.C.) of the CU Alumni Association. First African Baptist Church also hosted the Youth Service the same day— a good combination.

Pastor Richard A. Dent led the worship service, and a lunch banquet was hosted by Beatrice Collins Dent (‘62),and the Delaware Chapter. Cheyney University alumni and guests were invited for further fellowship.

Greg Benjamin from the Office of Alumni Relations was available to secure updated information on alumni and to mingle.
