Cheyney University Honors 89 CU Students
Students Inducted into "Who"s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges"

Cheyney University of Pennsylvania is proud to honor 90 students who were accepted into “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges,” a distinguished biographical volume that recognizes the nation’s most noteworthy students of higher learning.
Along with 2,300 national institutions of higher learning, Cheyney University nominates students each year for the national Who’s Who program. Dr. Suzanne Phillips, Cheyney University’ s Vice President for Student Affairs and Student Life, hosted a formal program and dinner reception recognizing the 90 inductees on Monday, Feb. 22, in the Great Room of Carnegie Hall.
Dr. Suzanne Phillips acknowledges, “It is a pleasure and honor to congratulate our students on this nationally recognized and prestigious achievement.”
For more than 60 years, Who’s Who among students has annually honored outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic and community achievements. Student selection for Who’s Who is conducted each fall by individual schools.
The CU nominating committee is comprised of representatives from the university community. The nomination committee members are: Dr. Tara Kent, Dean, Keystone Honors Academy; Dr. Janet Manspeaker, Professor, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Ms. Etta Baldwin, Director of the Academic Success Center, and Mr. Gregory Benjamin, Interim Director of Alumni Relations.
