Cheyney University Hosts Admissions Reception at African-American Museum

CHEYNEY, PA (April 12, 2010) — Cheyney University of Pennsylvania will be hosting a special reception for prospective students and guidance counselors this Saturday, April 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the African-American Museum, 701 Arch Street in Philadelphia.

This reception, sponsored by the Office of Admissions, will inform students and guidance professionals about the many academic opportunities at Cheyney University. Tips and advice about navigating the admissions process will be shared, along with valuable information regarding financial aid and the scholarship process.

This fun and informative event will be coupled with a complimentary lunch and tours of the museum. The African American Museum in Philadelphia is the first institution built by a major United States city to house and interprets the life and work of African Americans.
