The Cold Water Challenge, also known as #Chillin4Charity, is blowing up social media and has a fun and unique buzz for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, an organization that the Women's Basketball Coaches Association has been connected to for many years.

Most women's basketball programs across the country dedicate at least one game per season as a Pink Game, a game to bring awareness to breast cancer. The coaching staff at the University of Arizona decided to combine the events and take it a step further. Coaches, players and administrators get doused with buckets of ice-cold water but before they do they challenge other contemporaries to do the same. According to "the rules", if the one's being challenged don't step up they must donate $ 250 to the cause.

"I feel that this is a great initiative, that allows us as coaches to have some fun with our colleagues in the PSAC and around the country. It also raises much needed dollars in the fight against cancer. I'm really proud to have our basketball program involved with the Kay Yow Fund," commented Cheyney University Women's Head Basketball Coach Kyle Adams.
