Curry Earns Sophomore Season with NFL's Rams

September 4, 2011

After suffering an early season knee injury a year ago after only playing in two games, former Cheyney University stand-out Dominique Curry has made the St. Louis Rams 53 man squad. In the first two games last season Curry played on special teams. The Rams have eight wide receivers listed on their roster.

According to his father, Dominique Stephens, the Wolves head basketball coach, Curry played on all the Rams special teams during the pre-season while seeing limited action as a receiver.

Curry and his National Football League team mates open the regular season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
