Fleming, Gardner and Garcia Named All-PSAC

Three of the defensive standouts on the Wolves football team were named all-conference. Middle linebacker Isaiah Fleming and defensive end Ariene Gardner earned first team All-PSAC honors while linebacker Javier Garcia was named to the second team. 
 
Fleming, a native of Bear, DE, is a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy. The 5-11, 220 pounder leads Cheyney and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in tackles with 144 tackles, 90 of which were solo. Fleming also leads the conference in tackles for loss (tfl). In 11 games, the junior has 26 tfl (19 solo) for 69 yards. He also ranks in the top ten in both forced fumbles and fumbles recovered. On a national level he ranks fourth in tackles, second in solo tackles and third in tackles for loss. 
 
Gardner, a defensive end, leads the team with seven sacks. The senior ranks ninth in the PSAC. The 6-1, 230 pounder is a graduate of Hodgson Tech and native of Wilmington, DE. He a social relations major and ranks third on the squad in tackles. To his credit, he also has recorded nine tackles for a loss of 41 yards. 
 
Garcia is part of the strong linebacker corps. He leads the nation and the PSAC in forced fumbles with eight. In ten games this season he has amassed 104 tackles including 15 tackles for loss, three sacks, eight pass break ups and an interception.
