Millersville Takes Two

Cheyney University dropped both ends of a volleyball double header by identical 3-0 scores to PSAC rival Millersville University. The Lady Marauders improve to 6-8 in league play and 13-14 overall.

In the two matches, the Lady Wolves were led by captain Dejanirah McIver. The native of Newark, New Jersey tallied 26 attacks. Denise Hill added 23, Danielle Mines 24 and Travonya Kenly 20 attacks. Nichel Bryant was credited with 15 digs over the course of the night.

Cheyney is back in action on Friday night at 7:00 pm against league leader Lock Haven in Cope Hall.
