Mines Rolls a Personal Best 201

Danielle Mines rolled a personal best 201 as Cheyney competed in their first event of the new year at the Frederick E Underwood Lady Bulldog Classic hosted by Bowie State. Mines averaged a 167. Janae Silver also had a strong showing with a high game of 188 and an average of 153.

Cheyney ended the traditional matches with a 1-4 mark. The Lady Wolves defeated Salem International 641-638. They fell to St. Paul’s (862-790), NC A&T (830-713), Coppin (677-664) and NCCU (812-735).

In the baker matches, Cheyney defeated Coppin State (4-1) and fell to Virginia State (4-0) and East Carolina (4-0).

Cheyney will compete at the Kutztown Invitational next weekend.
