Cheyney University officials have just been notified of ongoing construction closures on Route 202. Road crews will work on a four-mile section of highway in West Goshen and Westtown townships between the Route 100 interchange and High Street.
The Paoli Pike on-ramp to Route 202 North will be closed and detoured Wednesday and Thursday (March 21-22) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The posted detour is Route 202 South to the Westtown Road exit, left on Westtown Road and left at the ramp to Route 202 North.
Lane closures will be in effect Monday through Friday (March 19-23) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Route 202 between Route 322 and Paoli Pike, and on High Street between the Route 202 overpass and Oakbourne Road.
As part of the $19.3 million project to improve four miles of Route 202 in West Goshen and Westtown townships, Chester County, overnight operations are scheduled next week (March 19-23) to remove and replace overhead sign structures, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today.
Crews will install new sign structures on Route 202 and High Street for PennDOT’s project to rehabilitate and resurface 4.3 miles of Route 202 between the Route 100 Interchange and High Street. Construction began in May 2010 and is scheduled to finish in May 2012.
