Second Annual Malcolm X Lecture Series Planned For Tuesday Afternoons in February

Black Heritage Month events are planned for Tuesdays in February from 3-4:30 pm in Room 117 Duckrey Hall.  By popular demand, the Malcom X Lecture Series returns.

The Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, Call Me MISTER program & 100 Black Men Philadelphia Chapter are presenting The Second Annual Malcolm X Lecture series. The series topics include-

Tuesday Feburary 7 "It's Our Time Now!" Youth and the Global Revolution presented by Dr. Weldon McWilliams

Tuesday February 14 "Gimme the Microphone!" Hip Hop and Its Impact on Social Change presented by Dr. Weldon McWilliams

Tuesday February 21 "A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste!" Education: The Benefits, The Detriments" presented by Dr. Weldon McWilliams

Tuesday February 28 "A Change Can Come!" African American Progress in the age of Obama and beyond  - Panel Discussion
