The March 27 Spring Career Fair in Marcus Foster Auditorium was packed with employers and would-be employees networking and learning more about each other.   Students who are on the verge of graduating or planning for the future were encouraged to see that there are jobs to fill and they are prepared with tools to assure their success in the workforce.

The event was organized by Ms. Ruth Brice, Director of the Center for Career & Professional Development on campus.  Originally set for March 6, snow forced a rescheduling. "We were fortunate that most of our employers were able to adjust their schedules and send their recruiters today. The students did a good job in presenting themselves - they represented the university very well."

John W. Hladun, Jr., Supervisory Federal Air Marshal for the Federal Air Marshal Service's Philadelphia Field Office has been coming to CU's Career Fairs for the past several years. He said this Job Fair "was by far, the best event I have attended. Over 260 students and alumni and 23 staff and faculty were in attendance. The majority of students were dressed in business attire and presented a positive image for Cheyney University."
