A New Book Featuring Cheyney University's sibling coaching duo, Marilyn Stephens and Dominique Stephens

Cheyney, PA (July 29, 2010). Cheyney University’s sibling coaching duo, Marilyn Stephens and Dominique Stephens, are featured in a new book entitled, “Under Your Nose: Great Philadelphia Sports Stories You've Never Heard.”

The book written by KYW Philadelphia sports anchor/reporter, Matt Leon, highlights those amazing sports stories that may not always make it to main stream media. The Stephens’ made national headlines in 2009 when they became the NCAA’s first brother/sister collegiate coaches of the same University. For five years, Dominique Stephens served as an assistant coach for the University’s men’s basketball team, served as Interim Head Coach in 2008 and was appointed as the full time head coach in 2009. Subsequently, that same year, his older sister, Marilyn, a Temple University Hall of Famer, joined Cheyney University as the head women’s coach.
