Weather Changes Community Day Plans

In anticipation of inclement weather on April 21, some of the Community Day at Cheyney University activities have been changed.   As planned, the 4th annual Thornbury 5K/10K race organized by the Delaware Valley Lions Club will begin at 8 am this Saturday. Registration opens at 7:00 am in Cope Hall gymnasium.  Parking is available in the Marcus Foster parking lot. Other activities planned for April 21 include the Cheyney University Football Team annual                          Blue and White Game (inter-squad scrimmage) at noon to complete the spring football practice season.  The game is free and open to the public.The LINKS voter registration drive will feature author and commentator Toure, who will educate students on the importance of voter registration. The event will be located in the Ada Georges Dining Hall. 


On May 5 other activities will be rescheduled including face painting, a clown, exhibits, food and merchandise vendors, family entertainment and games, activities and resource information presented by University departments and student organizations.
