Fiber artist Wendell George Brown will return to campus on Friday, April 19 for the presentation of the quilt commemorating the founding of the university.  The quilt is a culmination of the work of avid quilters, alumni, faculty, staff, and students.

Two workshops sessions led by Prof. Brown were held on Saturday, March 9.  During these sessions participants were guided through processes that included quilting, printing and the use of historical text in the construction of quilts.  Each participant created a 5x5 panel which was incorporated into the quilt.
