Winter Wonderland Old Fashioned Rat Race Dinner

The Montgomery County Chapter of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association celebrated the winter holidays by presenting their first “Winter Wonderland Old Fashioned Rat Race” and dinner. On Friday, Dec.4th, the chapter members and guests danced, laughed and chatted the night away at the Holiday Inn, in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The room was decorated with blue and white linen, balloons and poinsettias and the DJ, Curtis Jackson, offered music that inspired a floor full of movement. Nate Wallace, a line dance instructor, guided groups in participating in new dances.

Gifts were given out to the 80 alums as they enjoyed the celebration. Among the guests were Mr. Gregory Benjamin, Director of Alumni Affairs ; the President of the Philadelphia Chapter,Cheryl Dyson; and Gaynelle Lewis, President of the Delaware County Chapter. 

Chairman, Dr. Sandra Wilson, committee members, Evelyn Cook, Gary Jackson and Marva Hawkins and President Elaine Turner prepared an event to be remembered.
