Wright Sets New Mark & Carter Finishes Third at Princeton

Kemuel “Cam” Wright set a new school record winning the 60 meters and setting a school record in a blistering 6.87. Earlier in the day he won his heat and placed third overall in the preliminaries in with a 7.00. Wright’s time is the seventh fastest in D II this season.
Simone Carter finished third at the Princeton New Years Invitational in the 60 meters. She posted a 7.77 in the preliminaries and improved her time to 7.71 in finals.
Lonnell Wilson posted a time of 37.87 in 300 m to establish a new school mark. Diane Garrison also established a new mark in the women’s 300 m in a time of 46.22. Carter’s mark is the fifth fast in DII this season.
