November 12, 2012
Blacks Educating Blacks About Sexual Health Issues, a Philadelphia organization, is presenting a safe sex workshop on campus on Wednesday November 14. The workshop begins at 12:30 pm, and at it's conclusion at 1:20 attendees will have the option of having a screening test done.
Presenter, Dr. Kathleen Asbury, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and BEBASHI students, will discuss the importance of safe sex and the methods of protection. The workshop was created to answer any questions students may have about safe sex and inform them of protective options they have at their disposal. In addition BEBASHI representatives will speak to the students about AIDS and HIV prevention.
The mission of BEBASHI is to provide culturally sensitive health related information, direct service, research and technical assistance to the urban community.
