CU Hosts Accepted Students Reception

March 8, 2012

Dozens of prospective students and their families had a chance to visit campus on a gorgeous  March afternoon.  From welcome greetings from the Admissions staff led by Michael Taylor, to a peppy performance by the Soulful Sound Marching Band, complete with flag-bearers and dancers, the day was filled with fun and facts.

Alumni Clarence Iszard, Class of '92 and Cheree Monroe shared their Cheyney memories at the opening reception in Carnegie Hall.   Student Ambassadors gave tours of the historic Quad and residence halls, and Counselors talked about campus life, majors, and athletic opportunities.  Harold Johnson, interim director of Financial Aid, staffed the Carnegie computer lab to assist the applicants with completing their financial aid paperwork.

The Admissions staff is looking forward to welcoming these new students back next Fall.
