A Women's History Month program, A Career Preparation Workshop, was held on March 28  for Cheyney University students. 

Director of Student Activities , Sharon Thorne, introduced representatives of four chapters of The Links, Inc. (Philadelphia, Delaware County, Montgomery County, and Penn Towne) who led interactive discussions on how to make great first impressions when undergoing a job search.  The speakers included Sherilynn Johnson Kimble, President of The Philadelphia Chapter, who assured the students, "Links For Success will always be here at Cheyney University to help you."

Other presenters included Terri Dean, The Philadelphia Chapter, Carolyn Oakley Lowe, Penn Towne Chapter, Yolanda Turman, Montgomery County, June Blue, Delaware Valley.

The event was sponsored by The Office of the President, The Center for Career and Professional Development, and the Office of Student Activities.
