Our Mission

The mission of Housing Operations and Auxiliary Services is to support the academic mission and educational program of the University through the provision of residence hall housing and related support services.Housing Operations’ mission is to provide a clean, attractive, and well-maintained, comfortable and safe living environment for students. University Housing Operations and Auxiliary Services is responsible for dining services, and camp and conference housing.

The Office of Housing operations at Cheyney University plays a unique role in supporting the overall University’s mission by providing efficient and effective services that: (1) address students’ needs, (2) offer a living-learning environment that encourages academic success, civic engagement, and intellectual development, (3) build community, and, (4) develop and prepare students as future leaders.

We encourage students to become actively involved in campus life to foster a comprehensive understanding of social and multicultural human issues and responsibilities through programming and cultural opportunities that enhance independence and self-governance.

Our office plays a vital role in collaborating with internal and external University partners to foster successful student transitions to the collegiate experience.
