Student's Personal Property

 The University shall not be liable for the damage, theft, or injury to any person or property within the residence halls. Any and all personal property brought by a student for his or her use while residing within the resident halls is at their own risk, including but not limited to those times when the University is closed and items remain behind. The University is not an insurer of a student's property and is prohibited from doing so by the Commonwealth. It is strongly recommended that a student obtain personal insurance for any items of value that is brought to campus. Students may also inquire in reference to coverage from their parent’s Home Owner’s insurance. Failure to do so is a risk solely
