The goals of the Social Relations program are: to give students a broad liberal arts background;
to prepare the student for graduate training in a number of different areas; and to form a base
for students to pursue careers in law, law enforcement, justice administration, and other social
science related professions.
The program offers students concentrations in either criminal justice or sociology. For both of
these concentrations, the student is required to follow a common major core of courses.
