Indirect Cost Rates (F & A Costs):

All On-Campus programs: 42.0%

All Off-Campus programs: 26.0%

These rates are multiplied by salaries, wages, fringe benefits, *supplies, domestic travel and the first $25,000 of each subcontract. 

Our Indirect Cost Agreement is with the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) and is effective 06/01/10 – 06/30/14. 

 

*Please note that the feds define equipment as a single item costing $5,000 or more.  In other words, a laptop is considered supplies and not equipment.


Fringe benefit rates:  Full-time staff and faculty on a 12-month contract – 45% of salaries and wages. 

Faculty on a 9-month contract - 45% during those nine months; 17% during the 3 summer months.

Part-time employees – 7.65% (FICA)

Students working full-time in the summer and taking no classes – 7.65% (FICA)
