The Telecommunications and Media Services department is responsible for overseeing the following operations at the Cheyney and Philadelphia campuses: telephone and voice mail; phone, data, fiber and cable-tv wiring installation and maintenance; television studio (Ed Bradley Broadcast Center), non-linear editing and radio station operations (WCUB-Ch.4); audio/visual and multimedia special presentations; event productions; multimedia and instructional technology classrooms (auditoriums, Smart labs); graphic design support; distance learning center and video conferencing; emergency mass notification; digital signage. 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Telecommunications and Media Services department is to support the campus community with quality and efficient telephone and multimedia operations, and to enhance the educational experience by providing quality service and state-of-the-art communication tools in the areas of; instructional technology, distance learning, television, radio and multimedia.
