TELECOMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA SERVICES 

The Telecommunications and Media Services department is responsible for managing and overseeing the following operations at Cheyney University

Unified Communications, the University website design and management; television studio (Ed Bradley Broadcast Center), remote video productions, non-linear video editing; WCUB-Ch. 4 radio; audio/visual and multimedia special presentations; live event productions (lighting, sound, video, staging and scripting); telephone, VoIP and voice mail services; phone, data, fiber and cable-TV wiring installation and maintenance; multimedia and instructional technology classrooms (auditoriums, Smart labs); graphic design support; distance learning center and video conferencing; emergency mass notification; digital signage.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Telecommunications and Media Services department is to support the campus community with quality and efficient telephony and multimedia operations, and to enhance the educational experience by providing quality service and state-of-the-art communication tools in the areas of; instructional technology, distance learning, web and graphic design, television, radio and multimedia.
