    Internships offer an opportuniyt for students to be exposed to a professional world beyond the campus environment.  The student gains valuable insight into "real world" work experiences and preparation for life after college.

    Internships are very important for your future.  They provide a way for you to take what you learn in the classroom and apply it to "real world" situations.  Internships will help you see what you are studying and realte it directly to future career pursuits.

  4. Will I get academic credit if I do an Internship?

    Internships should be pursued regardless of whether or not academic credits can be earned.  However, ALL Cheyney Univeristy students who would like academic credit for their internship experience must sign and adhere to the policies outlined in the Student/University Internship Agreement.

  6. What can I expect form an Internship?

    Internships are designed to provide a meaningful educational experiential learning opportunity.  You will be asked to conduct yourself in accordance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.  The internship will have a site manager who will oversee your responsibilities and will serve as a contact person between the university and the organization.
