Aretha Marshall is responsible for all aspects of casting and talent development for non fiction programming and content at Peacock Productions. She also serves as an Executive Producer.

As a free service to Cheyney students, it is highly recommended that all students participate in the Institute in either their sophomore or junior year.

Free Mobile Crisis Team Available For Student Assistance

Cheyney University partners with the Delaware County Crisis Connection to provide services to students, faculty and staff all-year-round. A free mobile crisis team is available to come to campus to help with assessment, intervention, and referral. Services include assistance with mental health issues, suicide intervention, and educational prevention workshops for students.

Lewis the owner of The Style Guy'D, a fashion and image consultant firm, which he started in 2009 after recognizing the importance for the "well-dressed man" and a numerous opportunities associated with making a great first impression. Lewis is also the Founder of Minority Males for Higher Education.

2013-2014 Arts and Lectures Series Off to a Good Start

The 2013-2014 Arts and Lectures Series began with the opening of the Synthia SAINT JAMES Exhibit in the Biddle Hall Art Gallery on Saturday, September 7. Ten programs will be offered this semester. The Arts and Lecture Series is part of the Academic Quality and Excellence activity which is funded by a grant Strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities (Title III).

Cheyney University's Soulful Sound Marching Band hopes voters will put them on the map in the 2013-2014 Honda Battle of the Bands going on now through October 9, 2013. Everyone can vote once a day for their favorite band. The top eight vote-getters get to travel to Atlanta, GA and perform in the Invitational Showcase in January at the Georgia Dome.

CU students have a Q&A with "50 Cent" at QVC studios

A group of Cheyney University students visited QVC studios in nearby West Chester, Pennsylvania and had a Q&A session with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. "Our students had an opportunity to ask questions directly to an award winning artist and business mogul" stated Mr. Singh. "How many people can say they have done that?" The trip was organized and coordinated by Ms. Sharon Thorn, Director of Student Activities and provided an opportunity for students to partake in co-curricular activities.
