On Wednesday, October 22, Cheree Warrick, author of Creating a Business Plan that Actually Gets Financed, will share her knowledge about business start-ups at Cheyney University's Entrepreneurial Leadership program. The free presentation, set for 6:30 pm in Cheyney’s Marcus Foster Student Alumni Center Auditorium, is part of the University’s 2014 Fall Entrepreneurial Leadership Center (ELC) Lectures Series.

Finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent--David Garibaldi--Speaks at Cheyney University

David Garibaldi, motivational speaker and international performance artist who was a finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, participated in a broadcast event October 21st, 2014 sponsored by Cheyney University's chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success. The event, entitled Rhythm & Hue, was the second installment of the 2014-2015 multi-speaker broadcast series sponsored by The Society.

Cheyney University Geography Students Visit Historic Dennis Farm

Cheyney University geography students were part of a contingent that traveled to the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania on October 8 to participate in the second Dennis Farm Charitable Land Trust Symposium. They are doing real world research that will be used on the Dennis Farm webpage and will be suitable for interactive, smart phone, and even walking tours that may be created for the property’s visitors.

Free Mobile Crisis Team Available For Student Assistance

Cheyney University partners with the Delaware County Crisis Connection to provide services to students, faculty and staff all-year-round. A free mobile crisis team is available to come to campus to help with assessment, intervention, and referral. Services include assistance with mental health issues, suicide intervention, and educational prevention workshops for students.
