    Cheyney University placed 16th at the PSAC Women’s Cross Country Championship. The Championship originally scheduled to be contested at Mansfield University was moved to Lock Haven after heavy September rains reeked havoc with the course.

    Diane Garrison set a new Cheyney University 6000 K record running the Cheyney loop in 26:33. Despite her third place finish the Lady Wolves fell to Neuman 48-18. Garrison dropped over a minute from her time two weeks ago. Diamond Butler held the previous mark.

  • Women Out Pace Cabrini in 6000 K Race

    Diane Garrison paced Cheyney University to a 21-36 win in a dual cross country meet over visiting Cabrini. The Lady Wolves had four of the top five finishers. Garrison completed the course in 27:45, more than a minute ahead of her nearest competitor.

    Diane Garrison placed 20th at the Belmont Classic to lead Cheyney University to an eighth place finish. Garrison, only a freshman, completed the three mile track in 25:21.32.
